Between the pitch and the pavilion.
The Open Sports Complex combines a rectangular football pitch with a roughly L-shaped support pavilion wrapping two of its sides. The long wing tapers towards its free end, while the shorter wing turns behind the goal. Circulation outside the playing boundary connects these spaces.
Slim dark roof edges, pale walls and transparent surfaces give the project its horizontal character. A glass-enclosed administration space and shared seating area establish a visual connection with the playing field.
DMRL Mimarlık Mühendislik developed the architectural design and presentation visualisations in March 2021. The images follow the relationship between the rectangular pitch and the roughly L-shaped pavilion with its tapering long wing, developing materials, light and landscaping for architectural presentation.
